Poesy: Caine youngest actor I know

Clemence Poesy has declared Sir Michael Caine “the youngest actor I know” after working with him on their new film.

The Harry Potter star and the 78-year-old actor recently worked together on new drama Mr Morgan’s Last Love.

Clemence said: “He’s amazing. He’s the youngest actor I know!

“He’s kept the sparkle in his eyes and he’s very playful and he’s incredibly kind and generous and it was a real treat.”

The French star added: “It’s called Mr Morgan’s Last Love and Michael Caine is Mr Morgan and I guess I’m the last love!

“It’s all very platonic, but I think it’s two people that are a bit lost at two different stages of their lives and find in one another a friend and something that makes them hold on to life a little bit.

“We finished filming before Christmas. It was really fun.”

Clemence plays a young Parisian woman in the film, who befriends retired and widowed American philosophy professor Mr Morgan.

Regarding Updates

I would like to apologize for my absence on this site and it’s lack of updates. I first stopped updating because I had some technical issues with my computer and then just when they were almost fixed, problems arose in my personal life. Things are still very much a struggle but I’m beginning to feel that I can “get back to business” with my fansites and return to properly updating them. It may take awhile for them to get completely up to date, but I will be doing my best while still dealing with my personal situation.

Danny Boyle’s ’127 Hours’ to close London Film Festival

British filmmaker Danny Boyle, known for films like ‘Trainspotting’ and ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, is all set to close October’s London Film Festival with the screening of his next film ’127 Hours’.

The festival also screened Boyle’s ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ in 2008, reports Imdb.com.

The movie ’127 Hours’ portrays the true struggle of Aron Ralston – the American hiker who was trapped under a boulder in 2003 and managed to survive by severing his arm with a dull pocket knife.

‘Having closed the festival with ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ in 2008, it is unprecedented for us to choose a closing night film from the same director only two years later…But ’127 Hours’ was the obvious choice for us – with film-making as bold and adventurous as its subject matter – it confirms Danny Boyle as one of the world’s finest and most visionary directors,’ Festival’s director Sandra Hebron was quoted as saying.

Slated for Nov 5 release, the film stars James Franco, French actress Clemence Poesy, actress Amber Tamblyn and Kate Mara.

Boyle has once again teamed up with Fox Searchlight Pictures, producer Christian Colson and writer Simon Beaufoy for the action drama.
